Stellar Dance rules & regulations
Important Information
Welcome to Stellar dance! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in our dance programs. By enrolling your child, you agree to the following:
Enrollment and Fees:
2. Tuition fees are due before the commencement of the first class of each month (ie: Septembers fees due before your child’s first class in September).
3. A late fee of 10% will be applied to payments received after this date.
4. Fees are non-refundable unless a class is cancelled by the school.
5. If you have an upcoming holiday and it is communicated prior to paying monthly fees, we are happy to remove the class fees for the duration of your holiday.
6. No other reasons are accepted for removal of fees and cannot be refunded once fees have been paid.
Attendance and Conduct:
2. Students are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors and peers. Stellar dance reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is disruptive or inappropriate.
3.. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children arrive and are picked up on time.
4. Students must wear the correct dance uniform and footwear as advised by the school. This includes Stellar dance uniform that must be purchased within 2 months of attending classes. If you do not have uniform, only wearing black or purple is permitted.
5. Hair should be neatly tied back, and jewellery is not allowed for safety reasons!
Liability and Safety:
2. We are not liable for injuries sustained or loss of property except where caused by our proven negligence.
3. Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is physically fit to participate.
4. Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect participation.
5. If a student becomes ill or injured during class, we will contact the parent/guardian immediately.
6. All students must bring a bottle of water to class.
7. Parents are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly after classes.
8. Parents of any children attending age 2-4 dance classes must stay on the premises for the duration of the class. No exceptions.
Photography
Occasionally, we may take photographs or videos during classes, rehearsals, or performances.
These may be used for teaching, promotional material, or social media. You will be asked for consent upon registration via class for kids. If you do not consent, please inform us via photo permissions on class for kids.
Performances & Examinations
1. Students may be invited to participate in shows, competitions, or examinations.
2. Participation is optional but may require additional fees for costumes, entry, competition uniform or exam registration.
3. Rehearsal attendance is compulsory if a child wishes to perform.
Private lessons
1. Private lessons are available with all teachers and run by a 24 hour cancellation policy.
2. Any private lessons cancelled within this time frame will need to be paid for in full.
Agreement
By enrolling your child in Stellar dance, you confirm that:
1. You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
2. You agree to abide by them on behalf of yourself and your child.
These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a positive and safe experience for all students at Stellar dance!
